How much do I have to raise?
There is a registration fee of £30 and we ask you to raise a sponsorship commitment of £120 to help make a better life for cats.
What support will I receive?
We’ll be with you every step of the way from sign up through to the abseil event itself! We’ll provide support and ideas to help you exceed your sponsorship commitment.
Who can take part? Are there any health & safety restrictions?
All abseil equipment is rated to cover individuals with a 16”- 49" waist, therefore participants who do not meet these requirements, are unable to take part in this event. No previous experience is necessary and full training will be provided from our event instructors. Parental consent is required for those aged under 16 years of ages. Please be aware in order to access the abseil location, participants must go through a hatch similar to that of an attic.
Why should I take part?
As a charity, we rely solely on your generosity and kindness to enable us to go on caring for cats and kittens. Taking part is the perfect way to challenge yourself and raise money to help cats in need. Just imagine that sense of achievement when you land back on your feet, knowing you’ve raised vital funds to help make a better life for cats in Northern Ireland.
What should I wear to abseil?
Please dress in sportwear with suitable footwear – trainers. This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately. Leather gloves are advised and long hair should be tied back.
