Paws Protect is provided free to those accessing the service. The cost of food, litter and veterinary expenses are covered by Cats Protection, including microchipping, vaccination and neutering if necessary.

All equipment needed is also provided, such as litter trays, bowls, scratching posts etc. When a cat is in foster care, ongoing support is provided by the Paws Protect team throughout the foster period.
